Shona Ramchandani is currently Diversity Advisor & Diversity Curriculum Subject Matter Expert at Rasmussen College, Brooklyn Park, and has been involved in the Twin Cities multicultural and international affairs since she arrived from India in 2001. She is also Managing Director of Kaotic Good Productions, a multi-genre local arts organization. Shona holds a B.A. from Hamline University in Psychology and Management, with a Minor in Theater, and a Master's Degree at Hamline in "Social Justice Advocacy Through Writing." Other work credits include Hamline University's Office of Multicultural and International Student Affairs, the Minnesota International Center, Penumbra Theater's Summer Institute: "The African-American Aesthetic," a Student Learning Advocate at Anoka-Hennepin School District and, most recently, as a Personal Care Assistant for individuals with disabilities at The Common Link. She has also performed numerous roles on- and off- stage with Hamline University Theatre. Her raison d’être is to see more artists of color and of diverse backgrounds in the spotlight in the Twin Cities' arts and entertainment scene, and she is very happy to work with Sample Night Live in that capacity.
